I had added a community aspect to that site, and many members were rather obsessed with the off topic of prophecies of the end oof the world. Since I was looking to build on the success of SoM and was rather at a loss of what toipic to build a new site on, and rather perplexed at where to get visitors for a new site, it seemed like a good idea to make a 2012 site, since I would already have a souce for visitors. Although SoM is top ranked in websites, it took years to get it there, and I wasn't looking forward to attempting such a thing again on my own, thus having a source of visitors, fanatic visitors at that amde the choice all the easier.
